Nepean Sportsplex, courses for Lifeguard for youth in the summer

National lifeguard (NLS)

Prerequisites: 15 years of age by the last day of the course,Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid, or SFA from a training agency approved by the Ontario government. The list of approved agencies can be found at lifesavingsociety.com. Nationally recognized award emphasizing teamwork, leadership, communication, accident prevention, and management of aquatic emergencies. Manual required at additional cost.
